Minimum length of stay (MinLOS)
In shortMinimum length of stay (MinLOS) is a sales restriction that sets the shortest stay accepted for a given arrival date.
It is used to stop peak nights from filling with one-night bookings while the nights around them stay empty, for example a two-night minimum during a trade fair week.
Related restrictions include maximum length of stay (MaxLOS), closed to arrival (CTA) and closed to departure (CTD). Restrictions can differ by channel, so the same night may look bookable on one channel and not on another.
Example
With MinLOS 2 on a Friday arrival, a one-night booking for Friday only is rejected; Friday to Sunday is accepted.
